About Us

Sarita is a Toronto-based real estate lawyer and the principal and owner of SST Law Professional Corporation, a firm repeatedly recognized for excellence in legal service and community impact. She is called to the Bar of Ontario and has earned national and regional recognition for leadership in the real estate and legal professions. In 2018, Sarita was named one of 25 Trailblazing Women in the Canadian Real Estate Industry by REP Magazine. Her firm, SST Law, received the Etobicoke Community Votes Platinum Award for Best Lawyers and Best Estate Lawyers in Etobicoke for three consecutive years in 2022, 2023, and 2024. In 2025, SST Law was nominated by Member of Parliament, The Honourable James Maloney, for the GEM of Etobicoke Award. Sarita has also been nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Her work and leadership have been featured nationally in Canadian Lawyer Magazine, The Lawyer’s Daily, The Globe & Mail, REP (Real Estate Professionals) Magazine, CREW Magazine, Mortgage Broker News, and My Business Magazine. She has also appeared on Vision TV’s The Zoomer, Canada One, and iHeartRadio 960 AM.

Sarita is frequently invited to speak as a subject-matter expert on real estate and estate planning. She regularly delivers seminars with major financial institutions including BDC, RBC, BMO, and CIBC, and has been invited as a panelist and guest speaker at the University of Guelph–Humber, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the SickKids Foundation. She was the keynote speaker at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business for International Women’s Day in 2023.

In addition to private practice, Sarita serves as Corporate Counsel for Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area and as Real Estate Legal Counsel for the Crown’s Office. She is an Advisor to the SickKids Foundation and a Coach and Advisor to the Law Society of Ontario, where she has also been a panelist and instructor for the Continuing Professional Development program The Foundations of Sole Practice . She regularly speaks on estate planning for the Law Foundation of Ontario and the Centre for Spanish Speaking People.

Sarita is actively engaged in governance and community leadership. She is the former Nominating Chair of the Branksome Hall Alumnae Executive Committee and currently serves as a Member-at-Large for Women Helping Empower Women, sits on the Advancement Committee for Kingsway College School, and is a Member-at-Large for FLIP, a BIPOC organization promoting youth in the arts. She has working proficiency in Spanish and French.
