About Us

Sarita is a Toronto-based real estate lawyer and the principal and owner of SST Law Professional Corporation, focusing on commercial and residential real estate, wills and estates, and business law. She is called to the Bar of Ontario and is widely recognized for her leadership and impact in the legal and real estate sectors. In 2018, she was named one of 25 Trailblazing Women in the Canadian Real Estate Industry by REP Magazine.

SST Law received the Etobicoke Community Votes Platinum Award for Best Lawyers and Best Estate Lawyers in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and in 2025, the firm was nominated by Member of Parliament James Maloney for the GEM of Etobicoke Award in 2025 and 2026.

Sarita has also been nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards in 2023 to 2026 and her firm as a finalist in 2026 for Canadian Lawyer’s inaugural Top Real Estate Teams award in the 2–8 lawyer team category.

She is regularly engaged by the Law Society of Ontario as a panelist, instructor, coach, and advisor for the Foundations in Sole Practice Course and Solo and Small Firm Conference, reflecting her standing as a recognized authority in real estate and estate planning. She has led seminars for real estate agencies and for BDC, RBC, BMO, and CIBC, and has been a panelist and speaker and guest lecturer at University of Guelph–Humber, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the SickKids Foundation. She was the keynote speaker at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business for International Women’s Day in 2023.

Her work has been featured in Canadian Lawyer Magazine, The Lawyer’s Daily, The Globe & Mail, REP Magazine, CREW Magazine, Mortgage Broker News, and My Business Magazine. She has also appeared on Vision TV’s The Zoomer, Canada One, and iHeartRadio 960 AM.

Sarita serves as Corporate Counsel for Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area, Real Estate Legal Counsel for the Crown’s Office, and Advisor to the SickKids Foundation.

She is active in community leadership, serving on the Advancement Committee for Kingsway College School, a Member-at-Large for the Point Goddess Basketball Foundation for female athletes, Alumnae Award Committee member for Branksome Hall School (former Nominating Chair) and a member-at-large for FLIP, a BIPOC organization promoting youth in the arts.

She speaks Spanish and French and frequently gives talks in Spanish on behalf of the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples.

Sarita is also the owner of Panettorino Il Forno Italiano, an artisan Italian bakery, in South Etobicoke with her partner and proud mother to her teenage daughter.
