Sarita Samaroo-Tsaktsiris, founder of SST Law Professional Corporation, is called to the Bar of Ontario, and has a law degree from the University of Kent in England, as well as attended University of New Brunswick Law School to obtain her Certificate of Qualification.
She additionally holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and a minor in French (Certificat de Francais Pratique) from the University of Western Ontario.
Prior to opening her own practice in 2012, she summered and articled at a large Bay Street law firm, as well as worked alongside general counsel for a major Richmond Hill developer.
Her focus is on residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates and business law.
She enjoys speaking with clients meaningfully about their situation, and their family, and makes it a priority to be detailed-oriented and give her clients personal attention.
Sarita is often invited to speak at First Time Home Buyer seminars at the branch level with Business Development Bank of Canada, RBC and CIBC and provides monthly presentations to real estate agencies. She has also been invited to speak at a Retirement and Financial Planning course at Ryerson University and to donors, advisors and staff regarding estate planning at the Sick Kids Foundation.
Sarita has been featured nationally in Canadian Lawyer Magazine, Lawyer’s Daily and My Business Magazine. She also contributes monthly articles regarding updates in real estate law for the Canadian legal news source, Advocate Daily.
Sarita is fluent in both Spanish and French, and is proud to accommodate services in these languages, in addition to English.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling and spending time with family and friends.
Sarita is a member with the Law Society of Upper Canada, The Canadian Bar Association, The Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and South Asian Bar Association.
